Main Main, in The Bowie Companion

The Bowie Companion, edited by Elizabeth Thomson and David Gutman, draws from a wide variety of sources from unknowns like me (albeit one who saw Bowie as Ziggy at the Liverpool Empire when I was 14), to William Burroughs and Patti Smith.

My piece, Main Main, is about what it was like to have Bowie as a male role model, in lieu of a father, when I was a teenager.
